Over 600 Republicans from across Minnesota came together at The Depot in Minneapolis for the 2016 Lincoln Reagan Dinner, including about 20 members of the SD49 family. The program began with a well-imagined “debate” between Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan, which reminded us of the rich heritage we share as Republicans.
Arkansas U.S. Senator Tom Cotton spoke eloquently about his military service and the country’s need for a President that will lead, one we can trust and respect. Former U.S. Senators Rudy Boschwitz and Norm Coleman also spoke, and the audience responded with the respect and admiration that both men clearly enjoy. The evening was a successful celebration of Republican ideas.
