A report released on September 27 by 24/7 Wall St names Minneapolis as one of the Top 25 most dangerous cities in the United States.
The New York-based financial news and opinion website used FBI reports to compile their list of the most dangerous cities, ranking Minneapolis at #25. The report states Minneapolis has a violent crime rate of 1,063 reported incidents for every 100,000 residents, which is “nearly three times the corresponding national rate.”
Robbery is also an issue in Minneapolis, with 459 reported incidents per 100,000 residents, 24/7 Wall St says this gives Minneapolis the 10th highest rate of any American city.
