Get Involved - Bloomington Needs Commission Members

CityofBloomington_Logo.jpgApplications are due December 28 for those willing to serve as a volunteer on one of 3 Bloomington Commissions.

The City of Bloomington is now accepting applications for vacancies on their Human Rights Commission, Parks, Arts, & Recreations Commission, and their new Sustainability Commission. All interested applicants must fill out their official Advisory Board & Commissions Application.  Click Here to download an application from the foot of the Boards and Commissions page on the city website.

The deadline for applications is December 28th, 2016. The city will be conducting its final selection process prior to the City Council’s January 9th, 2017 meeting when the City Council will be conducting a short interview with each of the finalists. To find out more about each of the commissions, please CLICK HERE to see the Boards and Commissions page at the city website. For further information about the application process please call the City Manager’s Office at: 952-563-8780.

We urge you to research the commissions and to apply to serve on one that particularly interests you.  Bring your common-sense conservative values to the running of the city of Bloomington.  Then, let us know how things go.  We would welcome short articles about your experience.  Help encourage more Republicans to join with you!
