Senate District 49’s Annual Family Picnic

Join us for a traditional summer picnic in the park

Sunday, August 7^th, 3 PM - 6 PM, West Bush Lake Park, Shelter 1 Area, 9401 W. Bush Lake Road, Bloomington

Shelter #1 is a beautiful picnic area.  It is large enough to accommodate our group, plus it is near a kids play area, a sand volleyball court, and a horse shoe pit.

We’ll do all of the cooking. Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs.  Tom’s famous roasted corn on the cob.  Accompaniments and condiments.  Fresh watermelon.

A number of legislators, candidates, party leaders, and good friends will stop by.

We’re offering Early-Bird Ticket Pricing to encourage you to register early, to help us plan the right amount of food, drinks, and activities.  Tickets will be available through our website until July 31. 

• Advance ticket prices will be $15 per person over 12 years old,
• $5 per child ages 5 to 12 (5 and under are free). 
• After July 31, the cost will be $18 per person, $5 per child ages 5 to 12. 
• Maximum charge per family is $40.
