2024 Senate District 46 Convention Call

Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of the Republican Party of Minnesota and the Bylaws of our Senate District 46 Republican Organization, the 2024 Senate District 46 Convention is hereby called to meet.

Where:   Hopkins Pavilion 11000 Excelsior Blvd, Hopkins, MN

When: Sunday, April 14, 2024

12:45 PM: Registration Opens

1:30 PM:   Call to Order

2:00 PM:   Registration Closes

The Senate District 46 Republican Convention shall be comprised of the delegates and alternates elected at precinct caucuses held on February 27, 2024, and currently residing within the boundaries of the Precinct in which they were elected.

The convention will be held for the purpose of:

1. Election of Delegates and Alternates to the State Convention
2. Election of Delegates and Alternates to the Congressional District 3 and 5 Conventions
3. Consider Endorsement of candidates for Minnesota House District 46A and 46B
4. Voting on Resolutions passed by the precinct caucuses
5. Transacting such other business as may properly come before the Convention

Cost: $25 - Early Bird until April 5th

           $35 - April 6th - April 14th

Delegate Nominations: Please submit the nominee's name, address, email, phone number and a 25-word statement indicating why the nominee would like to be a State and/or Congressional Delegate. Different statements may be written for each seat(State/Congressional).  

The DEADLINE for submitting your nomination and getting your 25-word statement(s) into the convention packet is Wednesday, April 10th at 6:00 PM.

April 28th - Congressional District 5 Convention @ Burroughs Elementary School
May 17th-18th - State Convention @ St Paul River Center
