What is Caucus and why should I attend. CAUCUS PLAYS TWO IMPORTANT ROLES:
FIRST: Connect and Grow Our Community
A supportive, connected and well-organized community of residents is essential to winning local elections.
The more we build up, maintain and activate our Republican/Conservative community the more potential we have to affect the outcomes of elections including City Council & School Board.
Our Republican/Conservative community is organized around precincts. A key role of precinct officers, delegates and even alternates is to facilitate this organization at the precinct level - that is to keep in contact with all of us in their precinct. If we know each other we can work together with much greater effect.
Then when election season happens we are able to activate the precinct to support our candidates.
SECOND: Establish the Official Precinct Organization
Elect Delegates and Alternates to the Senate District Convention and Precinct Officers.
Consider resolutions to the party platform.
Caucus is the start of the sequence of Republican Party endorsing conventions.
Caucus does not run itself - we need your help.
We are looking for volunteers to help with planning as well as on the night of Caucus. Please contact us via email or phone to volunteer
This is also about encouraging as many people as one can reach, to attend the Caucus.
